Thinking of getting broadband, or has it stopped working, not sure how to set it up?

Broadband:
There are two types of broadband, ADSL or Cable. If you have a BT landline (or have switched to Tesco, Talktalk, sky etc...) then you have ADSL, if you are a Virgin (telewest) or NTL customer then you have Cable broadband.
ADSL works via your normal telephone line and is dependent upon your distance from your local telephone exchange (although most of Thurrock is covered to a least 4MB speeds now).
Cable works via fibre optic cables put in when you have Cable TV installed, this has no distance limit like ADSL, but customer service is not a strong point.
We can come to you home and setup your new connection, either with standard ADSL modem or Wireless router.
We will ensure any Wireless connections are secure and cannot be accessed by other users and will ensure your firewalls are on and configured to prevent any hacking or virus attacks.
Already have broadband but want to go wireless, we can provide you with a suitable wireless router and any adapter cards needed for your PC's/Laptops and get all you systems up and running.
If your broadband has stopped working then first point of call will be your ISP provider to ensure there are not any faults in your area, or wait a day and see if the problem has gone away (broadband connections tend to be fixed within 24 hours if its a fault at the exchange or cable supplier). If you've still got problems check all the connections and make sure any status lights on your modem or router are correct.
If you've checked all that or don't know how to then give us a call, we can resolve 95% of connection problems within the hour, unless its a fault with your ISP supplier, but we will be able to confirm this for you and liaise with their technical support to resolve the issue.
